Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez appeared on the short-lived television programs South Central, Second Chances, and Hotel Malibu, and the made-for-television film Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7. She broke into the big screen in the 1995 drama My Family and then appeared opposite Wesley Snipes in the action film Money Train. She has played roles in Francis Ford Coppola's 1996 comedy Jack starring Robin Williams, and the 1997 thriller Blood and Wine with Jack Nicholson. J.Lo played the lead role in the 1997 film Selena for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for "Best Actress - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy" in 1998.

Jennifer Lopez became the first Hispanic actress to get paid $1 million or more for a film role. Some of J.Lo's other critically-acclaimed films include Out of Sight, The Cell, An Unfinished Life, and Shall We Dance?. Two independent films produced by J.Lo were well-received at film festivals: El Cantante at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Bordertown at the Brussels film festival. Other modestly successful films include The Wedding Planner, Maid in Manhattan, Monster-in-Law, and Enough. Gigli, however, would be a critical and commercial disappointment. In August 2007, J.Lo collaborated on the feature film, El Cantante, with her husband singer-actor Marc Anthony. The film is in English, with a creative use of subtitles for songs with Spanish lyrics.

Jennifer Lopez made an appearance as a mentor on American Idol on April 10, 2007.

In May 2006, J.Lo was the executive producer of the eight-episode reality show, DanceLife, which ran on MTV beginning January 15, 2007. Lopez helped select the show's participants and made cameo appearances. J.Lo then served as executive producer of a miniseries broadcast on Univisión. Titled after her CD Como Ama Una Mujer, it ran in five episodes from October 30 to November 27, 2007, and starred Christian Borrero and Adriana Cruz.

Jennifer Lopez signed a contract as star and executive producer of an unscripted reality series for TLC, a division of Discovery Communications Inc. The series will show the launching of her new fragrance, and will not focus on her family.

Hey Folk... Jennifer Lopez was born and grew up in the South Bronx, New York to Puerto Rican, Lopez's parents Guadalupe Rodríguez, a kindergarten teacher, and David Lopez, a computer specialist. Lopez has two siblings, Lynda and Leslie. She spent her entire academic career in Catholic schools, finishing at the all-girls Preston High School, in the Bronx.

Jennifer Loipez financed singing and dancing lessons for herself from the age of nineteen. After attending Baruch College for one semester, She divided her time between working in a legal office, dance classes, and dance performances in Manhattan night clubs. After months of auditioning for dance roles, She was selected as a dancer for various rap music videos, a 1990 episode of Yo! MTV Raps, and as a backup dancer for the New Kids on the Block and their performance of their song "Games" for the American Music Awards in 1991.

After being rejected twice, Jennifer Lopez gained her first regular high-profile job as a "Fly Girl" dancer on the television comedy program In Living Color in 1990. Soon after, She became a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and made an appearance in her 1993 video "That's the Way Love Goes".

Starting in 1999, Jennifer Lopez released seven albums, including two #1 albums on the Billboard 200 charts and four Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles. J.Lo won the 2003 American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and the 2007 American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist. J.Lo has appeared in numerous films, and has won ALMA Awards for outstanding actress for her work in Selena, Out of Sight, and Angel Eyes. She parlayed her media fame into a fashion line and various perfumes with her celebrity endorsement.

Media attention has also focused on Jennifer Lopez's personal life. J.Lo has had high-profile relationships with Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Sean Combs, Ben Affleck, and Marc Anthony. Her first children, fraternal twins named Max and Emme, were born on February 22, 2008.

Jennifer Lopez began her career as a dancer on the television comedy program In Living Color. Subsequently venturing into acting, she gained recognition in the 1995 action-thriller Money Train.

Jennifer Lopez' first leading role was in the biographical film Selena (1997), in which she earned an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress. She earned her second ALMA Award for her performance in Out of Sight (1998). Jennifer Lopez has since starred in various films, including The Wedding Planner (2001), Maid in Manhattan (2002), Shall We Dance? (2004), Monster-in-Law (2005), and The Back-up Plan (2010).

Jennifer Lopez came to prominence within the music industry following the release of her debut studio album On the 6 (1999) which spawned the number one hit single "If You Had My Love". Her second studio album J.Lo (2001) was a commercial success, selling eight million copies worldwide. Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai (born 12 September 1988) is an Indian film and television actress. She is best known for her role as Bani Walia in the Hindi television drama. Kasamh Se which aired on Zee TV. Prachi is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India.















Prachi hails from Hanuman Bhagda, Valsad and was born in Surat, Gujarat. She studied in St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and completed her schooling till ninth grade in Surat. After that, she went to Pune for higher studies. She studied at Sinhagad college, Kondhwa, Pune.















Acting was her passion since childhood - her father and uncle had done various Gujarati plays - but she started with a short modeling workshop. She went to Pune for higher studies and had almost finished her junior college when her pictures were sent to Balaji Telefilms and she got a call for an audition for Kasamh Se.














She had just turned 17 when her career began on Kasamh Se and left her studies for a while. She is now continuing with her correspondence course. She has also starred in her first movie Rock On !! which was released on 29 August 2008 and Farhan Akhtar as her co-star.















Kasamh Se is the serial that Prachi starred in and got her fame on Zee TV. She has captured many a hearts with this program acting as innocent but strong willed Bani Dixit (now Bani Walia). Prachi left Kasamh Se on 15 April 2008 and was replaced by Gurdeep Kohli after being burnt and drowned in episode 562. Kasamh Se ended 12 March 2009. In the last episode, Prachi Desai made a special appearance as the former Bani. Kasautii Zindagii Kay was aired on Star Plus which was a TV serial in which Prachi did a cameo for two days as a school student in Prerna's school. Her character's name in Kasauti Zindagi Ki was Prachi Desai. In the serial she plays a student who tries to go with her lover far away without the permission of her parents and was caught by the show's heroine who complains this to her and her lover's parents.
